Export value of goods and services as a percentage of GDP

According to the latest data from the World Bank, Zambia's GDP in 2023 was US$28.16 billion. Copper forms the bulk of the country's exports. As per data from Trend Economy, the mineral formed 64% of the country's exports, with a value of US$6.72 billion.



Zambia's top three export destinations in 2023 were Switzerland, China, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The value of exports to these countries was US$4.32 billion, US$1.85 billion, and US$1.6 billion, respectively.
