Kenya's Total Debt Composition (Kshs Trillion)

In 2023, Kenya's total debt stood at Kshs.9.62 Trillion, an increase of 19.32 %. This included an external debt of Kshs 5.28 Trillion and an internal debt of Kshs 4.35 Trillion which had increased by 27% and 11.17% respectively from the previous year (2022). (Source: KNBS - Economic Survey 2024)
