Kenyan government's actual development expenditure for 2022/23 stood at Kshs. 676.58 billion

In FYs 2021/22 and 2022/23, the National government's actual development expenditures did not surpass formulated budgets. Actual development spending is expected to increase by 82.04% from Kshs 431.99 billion in 2022/23 to Kshs 786.4 billion in 2023/24. (Source: KNBS - Economic Survey 2024)
